Decoustics Ltd., through its parent company Ecophon AB of Sweden, has acquired the Swiss companies Lignoform Benken AG and Lignoform Produktions-und Vertriebs AG from Petroplast Holding AG. Decoustics and Ecophon are subsidiaries of Saint-Gobain. Terms of acquisition were not disclosed.
In other news from the company, Echophon CertainTeed has achieved UL certification for acoustic performances for its complete line of Fiberglas acoustic ceiling tile products as measured according to ASTM. The data includes verification of the values for sound absorption (NRC), sound attenuation (CAC), speech privacy (AC) and fire safety.
