The Gypsum Association announced an industry design and construction awards program, “Excellence in Gypsum Board Design and Construction,” that will honor project teams who incorporate innovative gypsum board applications in residential and nonresidential construction.
“Many architects, drywall contractors, builders and general contractors have increasingly realized that gypsum board can be used in many ways to create unique interior features,” said Jerry Walker, executive director of GA. “The Gypsum Association is introducing the … program to acknowledge and reward professionals who have been creative in their use of this building material.”
