NAIMA outlines fit testing options for insulation contractors as part of HSPP
April 9, 2003
As part of its Health and Safety Partnership Program, the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association has outlined options and information for contractors interested in respirator fit testing. This new publication is part of NAIMA’s ongoing education efforts to help insulation contractors better understand worker safety.
The HSPP is a voluntary worker protection program developed jointly with OSHA and key contractor organizations. It affirms the fiberglass and rock and slag wool industry’s commitment to the safety and well-being of the workers and customers using its products.
The fit-testing publication is available at no charge in NAIMA’s online literature library at http://www.naima.org or by calling (703) 684-0084.
