The company’s 440 Sound Barrier has been awarded a 1 1/2-hour UL fire assembly rating and can be included in any of the L500 assemblies listed in the UL Fire Resistance Directory. The barrier is designed to significantly reduce airborne sound and impact noise, and has achieved a sound transfer classification of 55. The product is a fiberboard made from recycled post-consumer paper.
