Canadian manufacturer Hydro Mobile will show its new
light- and medium-duty mast climber, the E-Series, at next year’s World of
Concrete. Ideal for glazing, EIFS, painting, roofing, restoration, inspection,
cleaning, and more, the climbers can achieve a number of configurations, is
fully electrical, climbs at 21 fpm and offers a single-mast capacity of 5,800
pounds. The product launched at ConExpo this March.
The
company will also exhibit its M-Series, F-Series, and the P-Series mast
climbing units. Raxtar personnel will again join Hydro Mobile with information
on its passenger and materials hoists. This European hoist manufacturer joined
with Hydro Mobile 18 months ago. Hydro Mobile
distributes the Raxtar hoist in North America.
In
other company news, Hydro Mobile announced earlier this month it severed ties
with U.S.
distributor TNT. Asked if the manufacturer would use World of Concrete to focus
on securing new distributors, Marketing Director Thierry Lachapelle toldW&C , “We are
always open to distributorship at these shows, but we have a lot of interest
already” since the news broke about TNT.
Lachapelle
also said Hydro Mobile has focused more heavily on the international market
since the U.S.
economy has taken a dive.
“We
have been pushing hard on the international market,” Lachapelle said, adding
the company has found success in such places Middle East and Russia. “Even
though the economy is slow, we’re still going strong.”
The
company will exhibit its products at Booth S12327 in the South Hall. World of
Concrete returns again to Las Vegas
on Feb. 3-6.
