The RockSteady Clip, a drywall stabilizing system, is now available through select distributors. This cost-effective system is easy to use, and when installed properly will virtually eliminate the risk of incidental or accidental tip-over of vertically stacked drywall. Placing and lifting drywall at floor level adds approximately 300 percent more strain to back muscles than stacking material on end. Drywall delivered to a jobsite and stored vertically without stabilization creates a serious hazard. A drywall stack weighs more than 2,000 pounds and, if it becomes unstable, can cause injury and even death. By stabilizing drywall stacked on edge, the clip eliminates the need to choose between worker health and safety or construction site safety when stocking and storing drywall.
