Terex Aerial Work Platforms has announced it now offers Genie 360 Maintenance and Inspection Contracts in North America. Available on all new Genie aerial work platform models, all scheduled maintenance and inspection related fees are included under tne contract which makes life for equipment owners more convenient.
"We have taken out a lot of the guess work when it comes to maintaining equipment," said Thor Wickstrom, director of sales, Terex AWP. "With our convenient contracts, it's all planned out ahead of time. This minimizes downtime and revenue loss, and increases customer retention. Plus, a Genie 360 maintenance contract can extend the life of the equipment while increasing residual values."
With the contract, customers don't need to worry about when to bring in their equipment or how to pay for unplanned repairs. Through a contract, all maintenance work is paid for upfront so there won't be any unexpected costs. Options include single year or multi-year contracts, with financing available through a Terex Financial Services plan so costs may be rolled into monthly payments. Contracts are also transferable; a bonus for the next owner of the equipment, and may be bundled with the company's extended protection plan Terex Xtend.
Other benefits include calculating the total cost of ownership to help with expense planning, ensuring that routine service and maintenance requirements are checked on a consistent basis to help minimize the potential for major repairs. All maintenance will be performed by factory authorized and trained technicians.
