DuPont Building Innovations
DuPont Building Innovations introduces DuPont Tyvek Fluid Applied WB
System, the latest innovation in the trusted portfolio of DuPont science-based
weatherization products. DuPont has leveraged the industry-leading performance
of traditional DuPont Tyvek to develop DuPont Tyvek Fluid Applied WB System,
which enjoys the superior protection of DuPont Tyvek CommercialWrap, but in a
fluid-applied form that is easier to install on concrete, CMU and complex
high-rise buildings. The system offers
features not available elsewhere in the industry. Providing the ideal
combination of air and water holdout, the new innovation boasts the highest
vapor permeability among the competition at 25 mils. Applied by spraying or
pressure rolling, the product saves valuable time in the installation process by
providing two-to-three times as much coverage per gallon as competing products.
Additionally, combining low shrinkage with high elongation and elastic recovery
allows the system to stretch and move with the building, unlike other fluid
applied materials that shrink during curing and crack over time. For more
