ICC-ES Ensures Acceptance Criteria Complies with 2012 I-Codes
ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) is updating its acceptance criteria to reflect revisions to the 2012 International Codes. This effort will allow customers to promptly update existing evaluation reports with the most current technical data. ICC-ES evaluation reports updated to the 2012 I-Codes let code officials, designers, architects, engineers and others in the building industry know they can feel confident about approving or specifying products based on the most current information.
“Building officials look for the ICC-ES mark on building products because they trust our work and recognize the credibility of our evaluation reports,” said ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian. “Manufacturers can rely on a quick turnaround time when requesting these updates, which enhances market acceptance.”
