Super Stud Building Products Inc. is celebrating its 40th anniversary and continues to focus on innovative offerings with in the trade.

Our team has worked extremely hard to make Super Stud a one-stop-shop for our customers,” said Ray Frobosilo, CEO and founder of Super Stud Building Products. “With expansion into various products and industries in the last four decades, we have become leaders in not just our region, but within the construction industry and steel markets.”  In addition to piloting Super Stud into its current position as an industry innovator, Ray Frobosilo served as the President of the Association of Steel Distributors and has served on committees of the American Iron and Steel Industry.

A company that started in 1973, Super Stud is a proud manufacturer of the industry’s most diverse offering of steel framing components and accessories for use in the construction of commercial, institutional and residential structures. With its roots in the New York Tri-State area, Super Stud successfully addresses the needs of design professionals and contractors alike.

“We have made a commitment to quality products and prompt service, which has allowed us to expand to markets including the entire East coast and beyond,” said Frobosilo. “With the range of markets, our affiliates now manufacture and supply all necessary systems and components to provide a completely freestanding, dried-in structural shell of a building. Each member of the Super Stud Affiliation of Companies adds its own unique element to the design. Super Stud provides the interior and exterior structural steel and curtainwall framing. FRO MAR Structural Steel Panels supplies the exterior panel system, which resists seismic forces and is Miami-Dade County certified for High-Velocity Hurricane Zones. EIFS solutions for the architectural finish to structure exteriors are provided by energex wall systems. DragonBoard supplies mold, mildew, water, fire and impact resistant sheathing and sub-flooring. Finally, Galaxy Metal Products manufactures both stock and custom designed door frames and hardware that meet UL Classification and most design requirements. 

Last year, Super Stud unveiled new licensing partner Comex-Lafarge, S.A. de C.V, based in Mexico. Comex-Lafarge became the first international licensees of The EDGE Steel Framing System, which will be manufactured in Mexico.
