Diablo Extends Offering of Reciprocating Saw Blades

Freud America, Inc., has added to its line of innovative, high-performance Diablo reciprocating saw blades with two new specialty blades: a flush cut blade and a pruning blade.

The new Diablo Flush Cut Blades are designed to handle nail-embedded wood and metal. These Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades come in 9” and 12” lengths (Product numbers DS0194AFC and DS1214AFC) and feature the optimal flex body height for flush cutting. They have a unique tooth configuration for smoother cuts with less vibration and deliverer up to four times longer cutting life than standard bi-metal blades, saving both time and money. As with most other Diablo reciprocating blades the new Flush Cut Blade features their exclusive Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating that reduces heat, gumming and corrosion.

The new Diablo Pruning Reciprocating Saw Blades come in 9” and 12” lengths (Product numbers DS0905FG and DS1205FG) are bi-metal and designed for fast, smooth cutting. The blades feature:

  • Precision fleam ground teeth for super fast cutting in wood materials.
  • A hardened cutting edge for long and durable cutting life.
  • Bi-directional tooth design for fast and smooth cutting in both directions.
  • Deep-seated gullets for easy chip removal and fast cutting.

Also offered in the Diablo reciprocating saw blade offering are:

Diablo STEEL DEMON Carbide Strip 6” Reciprocating Saw Blade—Specifically designed for maximum performance in stainless steel cutting applications. This blade features a pure solid carbide strip that is welded to the blade’s body and then the teeth are ground to perfection for precise, sharp cutting edge. The solid carbide strip delivers up to 15 times longer life than industry bi-metal blades.

Diablo Demo Demon Bi-metal Reciprocating Saw Blades (6”, 9” and 12”) Feature breakthrough innovation for maximum cutting life in nail-embedded applications. These new reciprocating blades offer leading technology such as Ultra-Hardened Cutting Edge, 1” oversized blade height, and Variable Tooth Design; delivering up to four times longer cutting life than standard bi-metal blades, saving both time and money.

Diablo Steel Demon Bi-Metal Reciprocating Blades—4”, 6”, 9” and 12” These are the first Dual Tooth Design Bi-Metal blades with Perma-SHIELD Non-Stick coating and an Ultra-Hardened cutting edge for maximum durability and speed. Diablo’s STEEL DEMON reciprocating saw blades are specifically designed for maximum performance in metal cutting and demolition applications.
