Walls & Ceilings Architect will be hosting its next webinar on June 30. This one-hour event, “From Concept to Reality: How to Use BIM to its Full Potential,” is presented by Dave Myers, project architect for PGAV Destinations.

This event will look at building modeling and its uses from design to completion of a geometrically complex project. The webinar will cover: design, construction documents, building systems coordination and fabrication, 3-D shop drawings, and layout of complex geometries for onsite metal stud fabrication. The project is the new Space Shuttle Atlantis attraction at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, home to the last space shuttle to fly in space.

During the presentation, attendees will:

  1. Learn how an architect used a building model during the design phase of a built project.
  2. Learn how an architect used a building model during the construction documents phase of a built project.
  3. Learn how an architect and contractor used a building model to solve coordination & layout issues during the construction of a geometrically complex building.
  4. Learn how the architect and contractor used 3-D modeling to produce and review 3-D shop drawings.

The event is sponsored by ClarkDietrich Building Products, Radius Track and PGAV Destinations.
