Parksite Inc. announced effective April 1st; it will be the full-service distributor of DuPont Corian and DuPont Zodiaq in the geographic marketing area of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Parksite will now market the DuPont Surfaces products in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Florida, New England and Caribbean markets. The national building materials distributor has been involved with DuPont Corian since 1974.

“This additional market territory is in alignment with our future growth plans and it is a great vote of confidence to be chosen by DuPont as successor in this influential specification and design community. This will augment our strength in the New England market where we currently have a strong residential and commercial presence with building materials, including DuPont Tyvek”, said Tony Millhouse, vice president of sales of Parksite.

Dave Abram, a 15-year Parksite associate, with direct experience in the New England market, will act as sales manager for this territory effective immediately. Currently, Abram is interviewing potential associates to be fully operational in this territory by April 1. A full team consisting of residential and commercial sales associates, customer service and inside sales will service the area.

Founded in 1971 by John Morrisroe and Ray Biggins, Parksite is 100 percent employee-owned. According to Ron Heitzman, CEO, “Our commitment has been, and will always be, to create demonstrable value for our customers, our suppliers and shareholders.  Growth and sustainability are important to all our stakeholders and we will deliver both.”   Nationally, Parksite has nine locations and more than 400 employee-owners.
