SOPREMA, a company in the roofing, waterproofing, wall protection and civil engineering industries, officially broke ground on July 29 for a new construction project, expanding its Wadsworth, Ohio, campus. The additional facility is anticipated to add new jobs to the Wadsworth community in 2017.

The new building will encompass approximately 25,000 square-feet of space and allow for additional roofing and waterproofing resin production in the United States, offering shorter lead times and state-of-the-art manufacturing operations for customers across North America.

“The addition of our new Wadsworth manufacturing facility affirms our commitment to growing within our community,” says Sara Jonas, marketing manager, SOPREMA. “The new Wadsworth facility will continue SOPREMA’s focus to advance and provide our industry with the highest performing roofing and waterproofing resin systems, while also enhancing our innovation capabilities, says Tim Kersey, VP/GM.”

Construction on the Wadsworth project is set to be completed by summer of 2017 and joins three additional SOPREMA facilities on its campus in Wadsworth
