After news broke about the acquisition of L&W Supply Corp. by ABC Supply, an email from USG Corp. was sent out to their valued customers explaining the important company news and what this means for all those involved. 

 

The email stated, USG Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its building product distribution business, L&W Supply Corp., to ABC Supply. This transaction will allow USG to focus on innovation and invest in our core business.

 

In case you are not already familiar with them, ABC Supply is a family-owned company specializing in exterior building and roofing supplies. They are the largest wholesale distributors of roofing products in the United States and lead the nation in distribution of siding, windows and other select exterior building products. We understand that ABC Supply intends to operate L&W as a separate distribution business, maintaining its interiors focus, under the ABC Supply umbrella.
