Industrial Scientific, a gas detection service, announced Lisa Brooks as the vice president of human resources.

Brooks will be responsible for the development and execution of human resource strategies and initiatives while partnering with the leadership team to drive employee engagement, talent development and organizational design.

“Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, and we’re looking forward to benefiting from her experience as a leader,” said Justin McElhattan, president of Industrial Scientific.

Brooks joins Industrial Scientific after a 10-year career with Tektronix, a Fortive operating company based in Oregon that designs and manufactures test, measurement, and monitoring solutions to accelerate global innovation. There Brooks worked in a range of leadership positions including global director & HR business partner as well as interim director, human resources – Asia Pacific, based in Shanghai.
