Mowery, a construction company based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce the addition of Joe Grignano of York, Pennsylvania as director of special projects. As a part of this announcement, current Mowery employee, Derek Dilks of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania will move into a newly created director of real estate position.

“We are proud to announce the growth of our team in two ways – the addition of a new team member and the move of a current team member into a newly created position,” said David Cross, president of Mowery. “Not only is Mowery continuing to grow, but we are also adapting and creating new initiatives that allow our existing team to grow their talents and expertise.”

Dilks has been a part of the team since 2016. In his new role as director of real estate, Dilks will be responsible for new business development and nurturing existing client relationships. In addition, he will focus on identifying and evaluating real estate development opportunities in an effort to grow Mowery’s real estate portfolio and generate additional construction opportunities.

As director of special projects, Grignano will oversee and grow Mowery’s smaller, short-duration projects and tenant fit-out services which prepares the interior spaces of a new building for occupation. Prior to joining Mowery, Grignano was owner of PRO-Builders, a residential and commercial renovation and remodeling company he founded in 1989. Throughout his career, he has continued to further his education through various construction trade schools and leadership programs including York Technical Institute, York County Vocational Institute, Associated Builders and Contractors, Sandler Sales Institute and Dale Carnegie Business Training.

“Joe’s almost 30 years of experience and Derek’s strong customer focus will allow us to expand our capabilities and offerings in our defined core markets,” said Cross. “Their leadership is a great benefit to our existing and future clients.”
