Focal Point, LLC and Protech Spec Resources (Protech) are working together to deliver integrated lighting and acoustic ceiling systems to the architecture and design community. The strategic move is designed to expand Protech’s product offering and grow Focal Point’s reach in the acoustic ceiling systems’ market.

Protech, an independent manufacturer representative agency specializing in acoustical ceiling and wall treatments, represents a dozen manufacturers. Focal Point has joined the list of carefully selected companies that Protech will sell and offer design consulting service for in the New York metropolitan area.

Responding to the announcement, Ray Horan, President of Protech Spec Resources, noted the superior quality and performance of Focal Point products. “We were impressed with their in-house capabilities, from design, to engineering, to manufacturing, to testing, and also with their excellent reputation in the architecture and design community.”

Robert Fanneron, a Sales Representative for Protech covering New York City and New Jersey stated, “The addition of Focal Point to our portfolio of brands will allow us to offer customers a new innovative approach to addressing high noise levels and reverberation issues, common in open interior space.”
