In the wake of the devastating tornadoes that recently swept through Tennessee, Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, announced it has made a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to assist in relief and recovery efforts throughout the region.

Nine tornadoes with winds up to 175 mph left at least 25 people dead and hundreds of buildings destroyed in central Tennessee.

“Along with so many others, employees at our Gallatin manufacturing facility in Tennessee have been directly impacted by the tornadoes,” said Simpson Strong-Tie CEO Karen Colonias. “Our thoughts go out to everyone affected, and we hope our support of the Red Cross can help these communities begin their recovery efforts.”
