The Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) is a non-profit trade association representing manufacturers, suppliers, dealer/distributors, design professionals, and builders committed to providing quality structural insulated panels for all segments of the construction industry. SIPA’s mission is to increase the use and acceptance of SIPs in green, high performance building by providing an industry forum for promotion, communication, education, quality assurance, and technical and marketing research.
 
The SIPA Registered Builder and Master Builder programs offer training and distinction for installers of structural insulated panels (SIPs).  SIPA Registered Builders and Master Builders have the knowledge and training to construct SIP building enclosures that are safe, durable, and energy efficient. SIPA Registered Builders must complete the BEST online course at Green Builder College, pass all the tests at the conclusion of each chapter, and be a current SIPA member in good standing.  Builders can download the SIPA Registered Builder application at www.sips.org/builder-training.
