Makita Introduces a Full Range of High Performance Gloves

Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, is introducing High Performance Gloves with seven different functional styles, from general purpose to extreme impact protection and more. Makita High Performance gloves combine comfort, fit, and dexterity with protection and durability features to meet the needs of the most demanding professional.

Function-Specific Features
Makita High Performance Gloves offer function-specific features with intended uses ranging from box handling, landscaping, and equipment operation to automotive, carpentry, construction, and more. Glove packaging clearly communicates top features as well as ANSI and ISEA standard ratings where applicable including cut level, abrasion, and impact protection so users can select the right glove for the job.
 
Performance and Durability with Comfort and Fit
In addition to performance and durability, Makita designed the gloves for comfort, fit, and dexterity. Design features include breathable materials, additional padding and reinforcement in high wear areas, stretch elastic cuffs, and hook-and-loop wrist closures. Five styles have touchscreen compatibility for use with a phone or tablet.
 
Makita is launching the new range with seven function-specific gloves:
 
FitKnit Cut Level 1 Nitrile Dipped Gloves:  The seamless 15-gauge FitKnit™ material gives users optimal flexibility and protection for easy movement and better control. The Nitrile coating on palm and fingers is oil and fluid resistant, with advanced coating on the palm for improved grip. The gloves are ANSI-rated cut level A1, puncture level 2, and abrasion level 4 for added durability and protection. They are ideal for box handling, construction, and equipment operation as well as landscaping, maintenance and repair, DIY home improvement, and more. They are touchscreen compatible for added convenience.
 
Advanced FitKnit Cut Level 7 Nitrile Coated Dipped Gloves:  The 10-gauge FitKnit material gives users optimal fit and flexibility as well as increased cut protection. The Nitrile coating on palm and fingers is oil and fluid resistant, with advanced coating on the palm for improved grip. The gloves are ANSI-rated cut level A7, puncture level 4, and abrasion level 3 for added durability and protection. They are ideal for box handling, construction and equipment operation as well as landscaping, maintenance and repair, and more. They are touchscreen compatible for added convenience.
 
Open Cuff Flexible Protection Utility Work Gloves:  These utility gloves combine high dexterity, fit, and flexibility with durability features for versatile performance. The gloves are ANSI-rated abrasion level 3 for added durability. They feature breathable material for comfort and an open cuff design for easy slip-on and improved fit, with touchscreen compatibility for use with a phone or tablet. They are ideal for a range of work including maintenance and repair, equipment operation, general purpose, and DIY home improvement. 
 
100% Genuine Leather Driver Gloves:  Durahide Leather™ Technology combines 100% genuine leather with oil and fluid resistance, breathability, and no break-in time for comfort and versatility. The gloves are ANSI-rated abrasion level 3 for added durability, with an open cuff design for easy slip-on and improved fit. These versatile gloves are ideal for a variety of different types of work including landscaping, DIY home improvement, construction, transportation, and agriculture and farming.
 
Genuine Leather Palm Performance Gloves:  This versatile glove gives users premium utility and performance. It combines the fit and flexibility of a dexterity glove with Durahide Leather Technology in the palm, thumb saddle and fingertips, and additional reinforcement in high wear areas. The gloves are ANSI-rated abrasion Level 4 and feature padded knuckles for added protection. They also feature a large and flexible TPR hook and loop closure for a secure fit. These versatile gloves are ideal for general-purpose work, construction, woodworking, carpentry, and DIY home improvement.
 
Advanced Impact Demolition Gloves:  The Advanced Impact Demolition Gloves feature up to 20% more thermoplastic rubber (TPR) for increased impact protection, with D3O padded palm material that offers the thinnest and most advanced protection against impact. For durability, they are ANSI-rated abrasion Level 3. Added features include hidden “no snag” reinforcements on the index finger and thumb fingertip for comfort and durability, a textured reinforcement panel for durability and grip, and touchscreen compatibility. They are ideal for automotive, demolition, maintenance and repair, general construction, heavy equipment operation, and DIY home improvement.
 
Advanced ANSI 2 Impact-Rated Demolition Gloves:  These premium gloves are ANSI and ISEA impact rated level 2, with up to 20% more thermoplastic rubber (TPR) and padded EVA palm material for added protection against impact. In addition, they are ANSI-rated abrasion level 3 for durability. Added features include a ribbed palm and fingertips for improved grip, breathable mesh material on the back of the hand, a large TPR hook-and-loop closure, and touchscreen compatibility. They are ideal for demolition and heavy equipment operation as well as automotive, maintenance and repair, general construction, and DIY home improvement.
