The SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 Regional Series event is ready to sweep across North America. This bricklaying battle is designed to test the speed, skill and stamina of each participant by challenging them to build the highest and best 26-foot-long brick wall, with as few errors as possible, in one hour. The mason with the highest brick count at the end of judging earns a roster spot at the 2023 World Championship taking place Jan. 18 in Las Vegas during the World of Concrete Expo.

The contest’s total payday is valued at over $125,000, with its freshly named champion winning a new FORD F-250 4×4 Super Duty truck coupled with $15,000 in cash and prizes.

In support of the campaign’s workforce development drive, SPEC MIX will also host multiple JR. BRICKLAYER 500 competitions created for high school students and apprentices pursuing a career in masonry. The JR. SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 competitions put masonry’s up and coming bricklayers on the world’s biggest stage to showcase their drive and skills. Competitors will be given 20 minutes to build an abbreviated version of the journeymen’s competition to show they’ll soon be job site ready.

For 20 years, the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 has been celebrating masonry by creating a fun and unique challenge designed to highlight the best-of-the best in the industry. Thousands of competitors have put their skills on the line over the past two decades, with well over a million dollars in cash and prizes given away to masons who weren’t afraid to fight their way to Las Vegas and battle on the biggest stage in masonry.

Winning masons will also have a chance to take home thousands in additional cash and prizes from our other amazing sponsors. Prizes include a new Multiquip Essick Pro12 mortar mixer plus accessories and equipment from STIHL, Marshalltown, Stabila, Hilti, Blaklader and Iron Age.
