The Metal Construction Association announced the MCA Scholarship Program, a new benefit for employees of member companies.

The new program is exclusive to MCA members, their spouse, children and grandchildren. Scholarships will provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education in any field. Students currently attending college or graduate school are also able to apply if they meet the established criteria. Recipients will be selected by a scholarship committee based on MCA member status, education transcripts and a written essay, which will include the applicant’s goals and how the scholarship will assist them. Optional criteria include personal references and extracurricular activities.

“The program is a valuable benefit to employees of MCA member companies,” said Brian Partyka, chair of MCA. “MCA is continually seeking out ways to engage with our members and we are looking forward to connecting in this new way.”

Award applications are due by Feb. 1, 2024. Winners will be announced by May 1, 2024.
