Just six months after announcing a massive purchase of 20 Link-Belt cranes, the ALL Family of Companies is tripling up by ordering 42 additional pieces of equipment. Cranes from this second, larger order are expected to be delivered throughout 2024.

The package includes rough terrain cranes, telescopic crawlers, lattice boom crawlers and hydraulic truck cranes in capacities ranging from 55 tons to 250 tons. The package is highlighted by 13 telecrawlers, including three 250-ton TCC-2500s, strengthening ALL’s hand in a category in which they already hold dominance. In addition, 10 traditional mid-range capacity crawlers have been added, along with eight truck cranes, which bolster the company’s taxi-crane fleet. Finally, 12 rough terrain cranes, from 65 tons to 160 tons, have also been added.

“The package is further evidence of ALL’s commitment to continuous investment and offering the most modern fleet to our customers,” said Steve Freckmann, general manager of Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, a member of the ALL Family of Companies. “Adding 62 units in a year’s time affords our customers greater flexibility and choice — in all of our regions.”

“We are proud to be a long-term partner with the All Family of Companies,” explained Bill Stramer, Link-Belt senior vice president of marketing, sales and customer support. “Our truck cranes have a long history as key contributors in their taxi fleet, and our lattice crawlers and rough terrain cranes continue to be top performers in their bare rental fleet. ALL Crane was one of the first rental companies to see the value of the telescopic crawler cranes in their fleet and purchased 10 of our TCC-750s when they were introduced over a decade ago. Today, the size and breadth of their TCC fleet is unmatched in the industry and gives them a unique advantage in the market, as the TCC products enjoy very high demand.”

Stramer further emphasized that Dawes has been a Link-Belt dealer for more than a generation. “A sales leader knows their product, and committing Link-Belt equipment to the ALL Family rental fleet demonstrates a real passion for excellence,” he said.

The purchase includes six Link-Belt LS248HSL 200-ton crawler cranes, six Link-Belt 65RT 65-ton rough terrain cranes, five Link-Belt 85RT 85-ton rough terrain cranes, four Link-Belt TCC-550 55-ton telescopic crawler cranes, four Link-Belt 238HSL 150-ton crawlers, three Link-Belt TCC-2500 250-ton telescopic crawlers, three Link-Belt HTC-86110 110-ton truck cranes, three Link-Belt HTC-8675 75-ton telescopic truck cranes, two Link-Belt 65HT 65-ton telescopic truck cranes, two TCC-1200 120-ton telescopic crawlers, two TCC-800 80-ton telescopic crawlers, one Link-Belt 100RT 100-ton RT and one RTC-80160 160-ton rough terrain crane.

New equipment is expected to be deployed across the bustling markets of steel erection, general contracting, pipeline work and other applications. The machines will be strategically targeted among the 33 branches in ALL’s national footprint.
