In this special episode of If Walls Could Talk live from BUILD24, W&C Associate Editor Michael Levitt discusses the upcoming Wall and Ceiling Conference & Trade Show with Gabriel Quintana, the Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau’s new executive director.

Quintana recently took over as NWCB’s executive director after the retirement of Terry Kastner, but he is excited to meet members and keep the association moving forward.

“Our goal this year is to really connect and have community, so [we will] try to connect with our members and actually meet them for the first time,” Quintana says. “But not only just meet them, but ask them what they need from us.”

NWCB is one of the organizations running the Wall and Ceiling Conference & Trade Show, but it has collaborated with the Signatory Wall and Ceiling Contractors Alliance, the Western Wall and Ceiling Contractors Association and the Wall and Ceiling Alliance to host the event in recent years.

“We [partnered with other organizations] purposely because we want to get more people involved,” Quintana says. “We don’t want it to just be a regional conference. So, it’s something that we’re going to utilize to give us more education [and] better speakers.”
