The Firestop Contractors International Association announced the appointment of Abhishek Chhabra as its director in the Middle East and Asia.

Chhabra’s passion and belief in the passive fire protection industry is unparalleled, and the FCIA is excited to welcome him aboard.

With nearly two decades of experience in the assurance industry, including over a decade in the passive fire protection sector, Chhabra brings invaluable expertise to the FCIA team. His dedication to overcoming obstacles and fostering collaboration has been evident throughout his career and the many years the FCIA has known and worked with him.

Chhabra has been part of several initiatives across the Gulf, India and Asia to drive better standards, codes and assurance across the fire safety community.

His leadership will undoubtedly propel FCIA and its members forward as the association continues its mission to advance firestop systems, effective compartmentation barriers and structural fire protection worldwide.
