Big News and What's Ahead for CISCA!

CISCA’s newly appointed Executive Director, Jim Moody, brings extensive experience from the construction and building materials industries, including 17 years with the Construction Suppliers Association. As he transitions into the role, he aims to build on the strong foundation set by his predecessor, Shirley Wodynski, who will remain with CISCA until June to ensure a smooth handover.

Moody has worked with associations in the medical, commercial real estate and building materials industries over his career, including 17 years with the Construction Suppliers Association. During his time there, the association developed fiscal security, grew membership in a consolidating industry, and created programs that helped members survive the housing depression and improve profitability after the economy improved.

He has a bachelor’s degree in communication from Berry College and a master’s degree in business administration from Mercer University. He lives in Atlanta and enjoys travel and landscape photography, often together.

“I’m very excited to join the CISCA family,” Moody said. “Shirley [Wodynski, CISCA’s former executive director,] leaves an incredible legacy of leadership for all of us to build on. The association is in great shape, and I look forward to working with the board and volunteers to keep the momentum going.”

Wodynski will continue to work alongside Moody and the rest of the CISCA team until the end of June.
