The SLX Range, including the SLX-F1.5R and SLX-F1.5R-FR clips, are designed specifically for drywall and plywood applications in commercial architectural environments. This new range offers a revolutionary alternative to traditional Z clips, delivering unmatched adjustability and installation efficiency. The range is engineered to meet the needs of millwork companies and architectural professionals working on complex wall and ceiling panel installations. Whether in retail, offices, hospitality, healthcare, or educational spaces, the SLX system simplifies the mounting process while ensuring long-term durability and compliance with stringent safety standards.

Its key features include:

• 360° Adjustability: Allows for 1/4 inch of lateral adjustment before locking panels into place, enabling precise alignment and reducing rework.

• Fire-Rated Options: Made from UL-94 fire-rated engineering plastics, the fire rated version meets ASTM E119 fire testing.

• Streamlined Installation: Engineered for installation in drywall or plywood, can be installed using standard screws or hollow wall anchors. Installation is fast, intuitive, and eliminates the gap between panel and ceiling.

• Heavy-Duty Performance: Designed to support heavy panel weights, up to 165 pounds. Available in four pull-out load ratings, ranging from 11 up to 55 pounds pull-out load per clip.

• Non-Sequential Removability: Panels can be removed in any order, offering flexibility for maintenance and design changes.

The SLX Range is available now through Fastmount’s online store. Installation guides, technical data sheets, and video tutorials are accessible via Fastmount’s website, including fi re and seismic test reports for compliance documentation. Fastmount’s support team are available for any technical support, from product selection right through to project completion.
