Ware Industries has promoted longtime industry leader Jim DesLaurier to Executive Vice President and appointed him to its Board of Directors, recognizing his decades of expertise and continued contributions to innovation in cold-formed steel framing.

Ware Industries is proud to announce the promotion of Jim DesLaurier to Executive Vice President of Ware Industries Inc., along with his appointment to the company’s Board of Directors.
With more than 35 years of experience in the building materials sector—and nearly two decades of impactful leadership at Marino\WARE—Jim has earned industry-wide respect for his technical expertise, strategic insights, and dedication to advancing cold-formed steel framing.
Jim began his career with 15 years in sales and sales management before joining Marino\WARE, where he became a driving force behind the company’s expansion and evolution. His leadership has significantly influenced Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Technical Support, and Engineering Services, positioning Marino\WARE as a trusted innovator in the construction industry.
In his new role as Executive Vice President, Jim will continue overseeing the Engineering, Technical Services, and Architectural Sales teams—reinforcing the company’s commitment to technical excellence, product innovation, and customer-focused solutions.
Beyond his work within the company, Jim is recognized as an influential voice in the building community. He has contributed to numerous industry committees, helping shape codes, standards, and sustainable practices that support the long-term growth of cold-formed steel framing.
