Sequence Linear Metal Ceiling Beam Baffles from Rockfon

Effortless installation, limitless design freedom and added performance with stone wool unite.

Rockfon's Sequence Metal Baffle Ceiling
Rockfon
December 15, 2025

New Rockfon Sequence Linear Metal Beam Baffles are the first metal ceiling baffles with the potential to incorporate stone wool infill. This design solution redefines what’s possible for North American design professionals by delivering powerful acoustic benefits, stunning aesthetics, and flexible customization. Contractors will appreciate a streamlined installation process.

“Our goal is to help designers and contractors shift their perspective, push boundaries, and bring their visions to life,” explains Michael Thill, Rockfon Product Manager - Metal Ceilings. “Rockfon Sequence Beam Baffles can save contractors valuable time on-site while giving designers the freedom to create without limits.”These metal baffles are the first in the market to come with the option of a stone wool infill. Stone wool is manufactured with primarily basalt rock, using a process similar to what occurs inside a volcano. Its properties make it inherently sound absorbent, moisture and fire resistant, and durable.

“Stone wool minimizes a building’s environmental footprint due to the inherent circularity of the material,” says Rachel Berkin, Rockfon’s Senior Sustainability Manager. “The versatility of metal and properties of stone wool deliver unmatched performance in building design.”

Contractors can easily align adjacent multiple baffles with Rockfon Sequence splices by referring to Rockfon volcano to center.

Stone wool integration contributes to performance and sustainability of the entire ceiling solution. It is frequently specified for its sound absorption and mold/mildew, humidity, and fire resistance.

Rockfon Sequence Linear Metal Beam Baffles are now available for architects, designers, and contractors across North America to specify in a number of commercial applications, including office spaces, transportation, hospitality, healthcare, schools, retail, airports, sports arenas, and more.
