Simpson Strong-Tie Expands Structural Epoxy Line
New CI-LVPO-KT contractor kit bridges the gap between DIY convenience and commercial-grade concrete repair performance.

Simpson Strong-Tie has expanded its structural injection epoxy lineup with the introduction of the CI-LVPO-KT contractor kit, a new all-in-one solution designed to deliver commercial-grade concrete crack repair in a convenient, cartridge-based format. The kit fills the gap between bulk epoxy systems used on large commercial projects and small do-it-yourself (DIY) repair kits, giving contractors and advanced DIYers an efficient option for structural concrete repairs without the need for specialized dispensing equipment.
The CI-LVPO-KT contractor kit features CI-LV low-viscosity structural injection epoxy, a two-component, high-modulus, high-solids, moisture-tolerant epoxy engineered to fill concrete cracks and strengthen the bond between new repair materials and existing concrete. The epoxy chemically bonds with concrete to create a structural repair while sealing cracks against moisture intrusion and helping protect embedded rebar from corrosion. CI-LV is dispensed from side-by-side cartridges through a static mixing nozzle to ensure precise blending of components during application.
“CI-LV low-viscosity structural injection epoxy has long been trusted for crack repair and concrete bonding in large commercial projects, but it wasn’t convenient for residential contractors with more occasional needs,” said Shea Roche, senior product manager for Simpson Strong-Tie. “This new kit hits that sweet spot between commercial jobs and one-off DIY projects while delivering the same reliable performance.”
Each CI-LVPO-KT kit includes four cartridges of CI-LV low-viscosity structural injection epoxy and two cartridges of CI-PO™ paste-over and structural repair epoxy, along with flush-mount injection ports, corner-mount and drilled-in injection ports, injection fittings, and mixing nozzles. The package provides enough material to repair approximately 30 feet of concrete. A CI-LVPO-KT-TL version is also available and includes an ADT30S manual dispensing tool.
The CI-LVPO-KT meets the requirements of ASTM C881 and AASHTO M235 for multiple types, grades, and classes. It is moisture-tolerant and suitable for use on both dry and damp surfaces, freeze/thaw resistant, nonshrink, and resistant to oils, salts, and mild chemicals. Its low surface tension allows the epoxy to penetrate narrow cracks effectively, ensuring a durable structural repair.
