NWCB's 2026 Wall & Ceiling Conference & Trade Show
The 2026 Wall & Ceiling Conference & Trade Show heads to Las Vegas April 30-May 2, offering wall and ceiling contractors focused education on workforce development, communication and field execution.

The 2026 Wall & Ceiling Conference & Trade Show, hosted by the Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau, will bring signatory contractors, manufacturers and industry stakeholders to Las Vegas for three days of education, product exposure and peer engagement. For drywall, plaster and ceiling professionals, the event is structured around practical jobsite challenges—labor constraints, coordination risk and maintaining assembly performance under schedule pressure.
A pre-conference program on April 29 includes a tour of the International Carpenters Training Center. For contractors managing workforce shortages, the session offers direct visibility into apprenticeship pipelines and training capacity—key factors influencing crew availability, skill levels and long-term productivity on complex interior systems.
Education sessions scheduled for April 30 through May 2 will address both technical and operational topics. In addition to system-focused learning, programming includes sessions on communication strategies between subcontractors, general contractors and owners. These discussions are increasingly relevant in the field, where misalignment on scope, sequencing or changes can impact installation quality, inspection outcomes and schedule adherence.
The conference will also feature an exhibit hall showcasing materials, tools and systems applicable to wall and ceiling assemblies. For contractors, evaluating new products in person supports better decision-making around substitutions, compatibility with tested fire-resistance-rated and acoustical assemblies, and potential impacts on installation methods and labor productivity.
The event will be held at the M Resort Spa Casino, with an off-Strip location intended to keep attendees engaged in programming and networking. Peer exchange remains a core component, giving contractors the opportunity to compare approaches to common field issues such as finishing level consistency, ceiling system layout tolerances and coordination with adjacent trades.
As project complexity increases across commercial interiors, events like this provide a venue for contractors to align on best practices, reduce risk exposure and stay current on evolving materials and expectations tied to performance and compliance.
