BinMaster Promotes Scott Hudson to CEO Role
Leadership shift signals continued growth in sensing, IIoT, and inventory systems across sectors.

BinMaster Sensors and Technologies has promoted Scott Hudson to chief executive officer, advancing him from his previous role as president as the company scales its sensing and IIoT (industrial Internet of Things) portfolio.
Hudson joined the company in 2015 as executive vice president of sales and marketing and later moved into the president role. During that time, he expanded the firm’s product mix and strengthened its position in level measurement and inventory management systems used across industrial and agricultural applications.
According to board chairman Scott McLain, the promotion aligns with the company’s strategy of pairing business growth with internal leadership development.
Hudson has overseen three acquisitions and directed investments in product development, software engineering and systems integration. He also led continuity efforts following a 2024 tornado that destroyed company facilities, managing relocation and maintaining operations.
He holds a chemical engineering degree and an MBA from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His background supports ongoing alignment with technology partners and workforce initiatives as the company expands its sensor-driven data and automation offerings.
For contractors and facility operators, continued investment in sensing and inventory visibility tools points to tighter material tracking, improved process control and potential labor efficiencies on projects relying on bulk material handling and storage systems.
