Worker Stabbed at Nassau Insulation Job Site
A worker was injured in a stabbing during a dispute at a New York insulation installation job site in late April

A worker was hospitalized after an altercation at a residential insulation project in Nassau County, New York, escalated into a stabbing, according to police.
Authorities said Andy Miller, 29, of Rosedale, N.Y., was working with a fellow employee of Spray Foam Insulation USA at a home on Woodmere Boulevard North in Woodmere, N.Y., when the incident occurred in late April.
Detectives said Miller became involved in an argument with a 49-year-old coworker while the crew was installing insulation at the residence. Police allege Miller pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen, causing a deep laceration, and also injured the worker’s forearm.
Other members of the jobsite crew intervened, disarmed Miller and contacted police, investigators said.
The injured worker was transported to a nearby hospital, where police said he was listed in stable condition.
Miller is expected to face charges including assault and criminal possession of a weapon during his arraignment.
Long Island News 12 reported that representatives for the insulation contractor declined to comment on the incident.
