PCG Selects Track3D for Drywall Tracking
PCG adopts platform to automate drywall and ceiling progress tracking nationwide.

Performance Contracting Group has signed a multi-year enterprise agreement with Track3D to deploy the company’s Reality Intelligence platform across its specialty contracting operations.
The agreement expands Track3D’s reach into the trade contractor segment, where progress monitoring requirements are typically more detailed than those of general contractors. PCG executes roughly 12,000 projects annually across the United States and is using the platform to support monitoring and execution on complex interior systems work.
Since implementation began, Track3D has tracked progress across approximately $413 million in active projects within PCG’s portfolio. The platform is monitoring 65 distinct drywall and ceiling elements aligned with PCG’s internal cost codes, allowing field and operations teams to track production at the activity level required for specialty trades.
Unlike general contractors, which often track drywall as a single line item, specialty contractors typically break work into multiple phases, such as framing, hanging and finishing. Those activities carry separate labor allocations, billing milestones and crew assignments. Track3D said the platform was configured alongside PCG’s operations teams to support that level of trade-specific reporting and cost-code integration.
According to the companies, the deployment has reduced manual reporting requirements on some projects by as much as 48 hours per week. Prior workflows reportedly required multiple staff members to spend several days compiling progress updates manually from project data.
“Tracking the granular detail a trade partner demands, tying installed work directly to our specific cost codes, isn’t something legacy platforms were built to handle,” said Brett Dahmer, chief financial officer at PCG. “Track3D didn’t ask us to fit our work into their model. They built on how PCG operates, automating our reporting process and giving our people their time back to focus on proactive decision-making and field execution.”
Track3D Co-Founder and CEO Chaitanya NK said the collaboration with PCG helped shape additional trade-focused functionality within the platform.
“Track3D is built field-first, and working with PCG pushed us to go even deeper to track at the specificity their work demands,” NK said. “That collaboration shaped how we evolved the platform, and seeing it translate into real impact across their portfolio is what makes partnerships like this worth everything.”
Track3D said the agreement reflects differing data needs between general contractors and specialty contractors. While general contractors often require broad project-level visibility, trade contractors need installation tracking tied to crews, installed quantities and cost-code-specific production data.
The announcement follows Track3D’s previously disclosed partnership with Hensel Phelps. The company said it is also engaged with large mechanical, electrical and concrete contractors across North America.
Track3D provides an artificial intelligence-based construction monitoring platform that combines reality capture and project data to automate progress tracking and identify execution risks. PCG, headquartered in Lenexa, Kan., was founded in 1963 and operates nationwide across commercial, industrial, institutional and mission-critical construction sectors.
Track3D is transforming construction monitoring with an AI-first Reality Intelligence Platform that integrates advanced AI with reality capture data to provide an unprecedented overview of project monitoring. It ensures that every detail is tracked, progress is monitored, significantly reducing costly reworks and delays. To learn more, visit track3d.ai/ and follow Track3D on LinkedIn.
