Western Window Systems Supports Navy SEAL Families
Western Window Systems donated windows and doors to expand C4 Ranch retreats for the Navy SEAL.

Western Window Systems, a member of the MITER Brands portfolio and manufacturer of moving glass walls and windows, has donated more than 40 windows and doors to the C4 Foundation to support the expansion of its C4 Ranch retreat facility in Mesa Grande, Calif. The contribution was made with support from the MITER Foundation, the company’s charitable arm.
The donated products will be installed in six new private bungalows currently under construction at the 560-acre C4 Ranch, a sanctuary created to serve active-duty Navy SEALs and their families. Founded in 2018, the ranch honors the legacy of Charles Humphrey Keating IV, known as “C4,” who was killed in action in Iraq in 2016.
Designed to help military families strengthen relationships, improve communication, and recover from the challenges of service, the ranch currently includes a three-bedroom cabin and three Airstream accommodations. Growing demand for its programs prompted the foundation to launch an expansion project that will add six bungalows and nearly double its capacity. Completion is expected in fall 2026.
In 2025 alone, the C4 Foundation hosted 98 family retreats and conducted 16 specialty workshops for members of the Naval Special Warfare community.
Western Window Systems supplied a range of products for the project, including its Series 7900 Swinging Door, Series 7665 Pass-Through Awning Window and Series 7600 Angled Multi-Sliding Door. The new bungalows are designed to balance privacy and community, featuring shared outdoor spaces while offering secluded accommodations with views of the Cleveland National Forest.
“When one of our dealers presented this initiative to our team, we knew we wanted to get involved in any way that we could,” said Mike DeSoto, chief operating officer of MITER Brands. “We are deeply appreciative of the sacrifices made by our military members and their families. Supporting an organization that helps Navy SEAL families navigate the transition between combat and home aligns closely with our commitment to giving back.”
The partnership began after DeSoto, who lives near the organization’s headquarters in Coronado, Calif., was introduced to the C4 Foundation and recognized its alignment with the MITER Foundation’s Heroes Support mission.
“We are incredibly grateful to Western Window Systems and MITER Foundation for their generous donation supporting the construction of six new guest bungalows at the C4 Ranch,” said Dave Hansen, director of ranch operations for the C4 Foundation and a retired Navy SEAL. “These spaces will provide active-duty Navy SEALs and their families with opportunities to reconnect, recharge and strengthen the relationships that sustain them through the demands of service.”
According to Hansen, partnerships such as this are essential to expanding the organization’s reach and continuing its support of the Naval Special Warfare community.
