Established in 2002, the SPOTY Awards honor safety leaders who help create safer workplaces and protect employees every day. Over the past two decades, the program has become one of the industry's most respected recognitions for environmental, health and safety professionals.

The awards recognize excellence in three categories based on organization size: Small, Medium and Large. One winner will be selected in each category, highlighting the unique challenges and achievements of safety professionals working in organizations of varying sizes.

The program is open to safety professionals employed by companies that are customers of J. J. Keller and operate in the United States or Canada.

Each winner will receive a prize package that includes:

• A $1,000 donation to a nonprofit organization selected by the winner
• A SPOTY Awards plaque
• $750 toward J. J. Keller SAFEGEAR PPE
• A choice of one premium compliance and training solution, which may bring the total prize package value to as much as $47,200

Entries will be evaluated by a panel of J. J. Keller safety and compliance experts.

The 2026 SPOTY Award winners will be announced in September 2026 and featured during a J. J. Keller webcast in October 2026.
