Lawrence Group has appointed Katlyn Garcia as its new controller, marking her return to the firm after nearly a decade in its accounting department.

Garcia first joined Lawrence Group in 2014 as an accounting services coordinator and advanced to accounting services manager in 2023. After leaving the firm later that year to pursue additional leadership opportunities, she gained further experience in accounting and financial management roles throughout the St. Louis region.

Most recently, Garcia served as controller for Rick’s Ace Hardware in Manchester, Missouri. Her professional experience also includes positions as accounting manager for Gateway Studios & Production Services and B&B Concrete Contractors.

In her new role, Garcia will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance initiatives and broader financial management strategies that support Lawrence Group’s continued growth.

Garcia earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
