FLEX Launches New Carbon Fiber Drywall Sanders
FLEX debuts lightweight drywall sanders with carbon fiber shafts for comfort, visibility and speed.
FLEX has expanded its professional power tool lineup with the introduction of its new Rotary Drywall Sander series, engineered to help contractors work more comfortably and efficiently. Featuring an industry-first carbon fiber shaft, the new sanders weigh as little as 6.2 pounds, reducing user fatigue during extended sanding applications on walls and ceilings.
The lightweight construction is paired with an ergonomic T-handle and a 160-degree pivoting sanding head that improves maneuverability in challenging positions. An optimized head design enhances dust collection, helping create a cleaner work environment while reducing airborne particles. The brushless motor is housed in the handle to improve tool balance, maximize efficiency, and eliminate routine motor maintenance.
Available on select 120V corded models, an integrated LED light ring illuminates the sanding surface to expose imperfections as users work. The light ring is also available as an optional attachment for compatible models, helping reduce rework and minimizing the need for additional jobsite lighting.
The series includes multiple 120V corded configurations available now, while 24V cordless models, including tool-only and kit options, are scheduled to arrive in July 2026. FLEX backs its corded drywall sanders with a one-year limited warranty upon registration, while cordless tools, batteries, and chargers are covered by a five-year limited warranty with registration.
