FWCCA Returns to Orlando for 2026 Convention
FWCCA's 2026 convention returns to Orlando with education, networking and 100-plus exhibitors.
The Florida Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association will once again bring together contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals for its 2026 Southeastern Wall & Ceiling Annual Convention and Trade Show, scheduled for July 29 through August 1 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Fla.
One of the Southeast's premier gatherings for the wall and ceiling industry, this year's convention is expected to welcome hundreds of attendees and feature more than 100 exhibitors, showcasing the latest products, equipment, tools and services supporting drywall, plaster, EIFS, acoustical ceilings and related construction markets.
Education remains a cornerstone of the annual event. Contractors and industry leaders will have the opportunity to attend technical seminars covering building envelope performance, moisture management, stucco rehabilitation, facade inspections and other timely construction topics. This year's program reflects the industry's continued focus on building science, code compliance and long-term building durability.
Following the trade show, attendees will gather for the association's annual Industry Awards Luncheon, where FWCCA will recognize outstanding contributions to the industry while introducing its incoming officers and board members. The convention will also feature the association's popular Saturday evening theme party, one of the event's signature networking opportunities.
Throughout the convention, attendees can also participate in a silent auction benefiting the FWCCA Scholarship Program, which helps support the next generation of construction professionals entering the wall and ceiling trades.
For manufacturers and contractors alike, the annual convention continues to provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships, discover new products, discuss emerging industry challenges and share best practices in an increasingly competitive construction market. With a mix of technical education, business development and networking, the FWCCA convention has become a staple on the industry's annual calendar.
Looking Back: Mark Fowler's 2025 Presentation
Last year's convention also featured Mark Fowler, who presented a well-attended educational session on the evolving code requirements for water drainage behind cement plaster systems. Fowler's seminar examined changes to the International Building Code and International Residential Code governing water-resistive barriers for stucco over wood-based sheathing, helping contractors better understand one of the industry's most discussed code changes. In addition to serving as Editorial Director for W&C, Fowler is executive director of the Stucco Manufacturers Association, bringing decades of technical expertise to the presentation.
