The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) is pleased to announce the winners of its Future Leader of the Year, Member of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Awards. The mission of the awards is to recognize outstanding efforts of NAWIC members.
The male to female population in the United States is roughly even at 50 percent male and 50 percent female. However, the number of woman working in the construction industry is less than 1 percent of the overall workforce.
