Lehigh Valley Business has selected Lee Ann M. Slattery, sales support manager of ATAS International, Inc., as a 2024 Women of Influence recipient and a Circle of Excellence honoree.
The IBM Bromont plant, located in Bromont, Quebec, Canada, opened in 1972. Fifty years later, the facility continues to be a leader in innovation, technology and continuous improvement, with over $10 million invested each year in product and process development.
Award winners were announced by ATAS for its 2023 Project of the Year competition. There were seven award categories: commercial roofs, commercial walls, residential roofs, residential walls, accents, sustainable and interiors. Each award recognized projects in which ATAS products were incorporated into the design and construction of the building.
On Monday, May 6, ATAS International held a ground-breaking ceremony for the expansion of its second Allentown, Pennsylvania, manufacturing facility on Grant Way. The existing 65,000-square-foot building was constructed in 2005, and the addition will add another 53,000 square feet.
ATAS International has named Kyle Ferenc, CSI, and Cathy Parrino as the 2023 recipients of the annual Malan S. Parker Award, which recognizes the top ATAS sales professionals each year.
At the Metal Construction Association’s winter meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Jan. 30, Dick Bus received the first-ever MCA Lifetime Achievement Award. He was surrounded by family and friends during the awards ceremony, and many shared their thoughts about him and his impact on the industry throughout his career.
