McShane Ashlaur Joint Venture (comprised of McShane Construction Company and Ashlaur Construction) broke ground on The Foglia Residences at The Chicago Lighthouse in Chicago for clients Brinshore Development and The Chicago Lighthouse.

The EIFS Industry Members Association is pleased to announce the winners of the 2022 EIFS Architectural Awards. This industry program honors outstanding projects predominantly clad with exterior insulation and finish systems, a renowned high-performing, sustainable, durable, aesthetically flexible building envelope solution.

The EIFS Industry Members Association held its “EIFS Hero Awards” ceremony on April 26 at the EIMA Annual Meeting in Palm Springs, California. A total of 15 EIFS projects received awards, and for the first time in the five-year history of the program, two projects took the top prize, the prestigious “Heroes of the Year.”

The Portland Cement Association is pleased to announce 10 member-company plants have received the Environmental Protection Agency’s distinguished ENERGY STAR certification for 2022. The designation is awarded to manufacturing plants in the top 25 percent of energy efficiency in the industrial sector.

EIMA announced that Amy Schmidt of the American Chemistry Council will be speaking at the 2023 EIMA Annual Meeting. Schmidt will address the EIMA membership during the Welcome Luncheon on Wednesday, April 26 at noon.
