The Louisiana city's Italian Revival building was constructed in 1911 and recently underwent a needed renovation.  

AD announced that its owner/members elected three directors to its LLC Board of Directors and an appointment.

The construction industry will need to attract an estimated 439,000 net new workers in 2025 to meet anticipated demand for construction services, according to a proprietary model developed and released today by Associated Builders and Contractors. In 2026, the industry will need to bring in 499,000 new workers as spending picks up in response to presumed lower interest rates.

The American Concrete Institute announced its membership in the NCBC. This membership, which was approved recently by NCBC, aligns with ACI's mission to foster global advancement in concrete technology and professional standards. 

The American Concrete Institute announced a major upgrade to its concrete repair resources. On Nov. 12, the ACI Concrete Repair Subscription transitioned to the new ACI 562 PLUS Repair Subscription.

The American Concrete Institute, along with the ACI UAE Chapter, will co-host the ACI Concrete Conference - From Gray to Green in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Feb. 12-13, 2025.

The American Concrete Institute, through the work of ACI Committee 323, has released ACI CODE-323: Low-Carbon Concrete — Code Requirements and Commentary. The code provides provisions for concrete where reduced global warming potential is required.
