Often referred to as one of the most picturesque and fan-friendly college baseball stadiums in the nation, Western Specialty Contractors – Orlando Branch recently completed improvements to Stetson University’s Melching Field stadium in DeLand, Florida.

The choices a designer makes for their own facility speak volumes. In the case of House Sprucing, a firm located in North Dallas, Texas, that does both residential and commercial design, their taste is on full display in their office and retail showroom.

Construction is completed at Kirwan Apartments in Waukegan, Illinois. McShane Construction Company provided design-assist construction services for the development on behalf of their client, Over the Rainbow. The 24-unit affordable housing residence allows adults with physical disabilities to live independently.

“God is in the details” is a phrase often attributed to the great modernist architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and it certainly seems to apply to a recently transformed derelict printing plant that is now a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based architecture firm’s new headquarters.

Honored with a 2023 Global Future Design Awards’ gold winner for cultural architecture, La Place des Arts du Grand Sudbury also celebrated its one-year anniversary of serving as Northern Ontario’s first multidisciplinary art center focused on French-Canadian culture and community empowerment.
