Something to Consider: Fun in the Sun

On behalf of the magazine’s staff, I am looking forward to seeing all of our industry friends down in San Antonio next week. Now “officially” one of the Top Ten largest cities in the United States (based on population), San Antonio is really a great city to have a trade show: It has plenty to do for the family, a vibrant nightlife and a great historical context to a city that has more than 300 days per year of sunshine. What’s not to appreciate about that?

For editors, this week is important, busy and exciting. Walls & Ceilings’ editorial staff will be doing our best to attend what we can. But what matters most to us is the collective of manufacturers introducing products and news for the industry during INTEX Expo, which takes place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on March 21-22. This two day event is the largest gathering of exhibitors for the walls and ceilings industry. I am looking forward to seeing what the latest product launches will be this year.

Before this, lots of committee and association meetings.

CISCA and AWCI’s meetings officially kick off the busy week on March 18.

EIMA follows a day later on March 19.

And finally, on March 21-22 is INTEX Expo.
