BPB Celotex has announced the gypsum mine and board manufacturing plant in Port Clinton, Ohio, will be phased out over the next several months. The gypsum plant, which began operations in 1907, employs 96 hourly and salaried staff. The company will gradually transfer order fulfillment to its gypsum board plant in Carrollton, Ky.
