Habitat for Humanity builds moisture-fighting house
November 1, 2004
Building of the South Fulton Chapter of Habitat for Humanity's 29th home in East Point and its first stucco finished home began in September. The home, sponsored by Sto Corp., Newel Recycling, of Atlanta, and Woodward Academy, of College Park, will be built using two of Sto's products.
"We are excited about building this house, as it is the first stucco home we have built in South Fulton," said Lisa Bushy, Development Director of Habitat for Humanity of South Fulton.
The 1,200 square-foot house will be home for a single mom with her four children and is expected to be completed around Thanksgiving.
