Mission statement: To promote the use of gypsum while advancing the development, growth and general welfare of the gypsum industry in the United States and Canada on behalf of its member companies.

Resources for the wall and ceiling contractor: The GA's technical publications are available for downloading from its Web site. Education materials are available to the wall and ceiling contractor.

Past accomplishments: The GA launched an education campaign on the recommended levels of gypsum board finish.
