CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels, a global supplier of grinding wheels, has announced that Jeff Binder has been named Eastern Regional Sales Manager. He will manage sales representative groups within the region and will plan, develop and manage new sales growth opportunities. Most recently, Binder served as an eastern regional sales manager for Pferd Inc.



Hickory Hardware has announced five new members to its management team: Ashley Holland, Retail Product Manager; Robert Bloise, Network Administrator; Shane Smith, IT Program Manager; and Jason Watson and Richard Stewart, as Shipping Dock Supervisors.



Quad-Lock Building Systems Ltd., manufacturer of insulating concrete form (ICF) systems based in Surrey, British Columbia, has named Jon Downes Regional Sales Manager for the Southeastern United States. Based in Georgia, Downes will manage the activities of Quad-Lock’s distribution network for that region. He has managed all facets of large-scale construction projects, specializing in large residential projects.



A.L.P. Lighting Components has named Dale Echavarria Distribution and Industrial Sales Manager. He was formerly industrial sales manager for the Spectrus group.

Spider, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, based in Seattle, Wash., and a manufacturer and distributor of access and safety solutions in North America, has hired Brandon Lamb as District Sales Representative for its Houston operation center, and Mike Gibbs as Area Director for the Gulf Coast Region.

Lamb has more than 10 years of experience in the scaffolding sales and rental industry and was formerly with United Access, L.P. He will lead branch sales and operations in the Gulf Coast region.

Gibbs was previously Fabrication Manager for Guardian Industries Corp. and Business Unit Manager for Ellison Windows and Doors. He also served in the United States Navy for eight years, specializing in power plant operations.



Denise Joehl (pronounced “yale”) has been named Communications Manager for the Ceilings & Interior Systems Construction Association (CISCA) based in St. Charles, Ill. She has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and communications for trade associations and non-profit organizations. Joehl holds a BA in Communications from University of Illinois-Springfield, and an MBA from Schiller International University.

The international trade association represents contractors, manufacturers, distributors and representatives of the interior construction industry. Joehl is overseeing the rollout of CISCA’s new marketing plan and brand image. She also is editor of CISCA’s magazine and many technical publications that set construction standards for the industry.
